We welcome members from Great Oakley, Corby and surrounding villages. U3A is open to anyone no longer in full time employment.

Great Oakley, Corby & District U3A started up in May 2013 and is still relatively small with about 150 members and fourteen interest groups, but with more on the way. Our main meetings are held monthly at Great Oakley Village Hall, Corby, starting at 2pm on the fourth Wednesday of the month. There is an annual membership fee of £24.00 (2026-27 for new members with a reduction of £4 if members do not want the national U3A magazine (which is available on the U3A National website) delivered to them. The interest groups meet in various smaller venues around Corby and there is usually a small charge at each group meeting to cover the cost of the hall/refreshments depending on where they meet. The movement is supported by its national organisation, the Third Age Trust.

There is no meeting in August.

The next monthly meeting is on Wednesday 23rd September 2026 at Great Oakley Village Hall at 2pm. There will be a presentation by David Pinion on his small ship expedition cruises to Antarctica.
